Before digital influence became a trend, Tosin Ajibade was already building one of Nigeria’s most recognizable media brands — and using it to elevate others. As the founder of the lifestyle and entertainment platform OloriSuperGal.com, and the visionary behind the New Media Conference, Tosin has spent over a decade shaping how stories are told, how digital platforms are used, and how voices are heard in Nigeria's online space.
Tosin began her journey in media with a personal blog in 2010, during a time when “blogger” wasn’t a job title — it was an experiment. She turned that experiment into an award-winning platform, growing a solo project into a team-powered media business by 2015.
As one of Nigeria’s earliest adopters of social media and digital storytelling, she’s worked with over 300 brands, consulted for companies, trained young creators, and spoken on stages across Africa — from Social Media Week to MTV Base Africa Masterclass.
Her work laid the groundwork for what many now call “influencer media” in Nigeria.
In 2015, Tosin launched the New Media Conference (NMC) — a space for digital thinkers, creators, and changemakers to explore how technology shapes culture, marketing, media, and society. What began as a bold idea has now become one of Africa’s most important platforms for digital dialogue. The goal? To elevate standards, drive innovation, and spark collaboration across Africa’s digital ecosystem.

Tosin’s impact goes beyond content creation. She’s used her voice and platforms to campaign against gender-based violence, raise breast cancer awareness, and amplify underrepresented conditions like vitiligo. As a former coordinator of the “Walk Against Rape” campaign and a champion of the “Save Debbie Project,” she’s used influence not for clout — but for cause.
The work of Tosin has not gone unnoticed, here are some awards and recognition she has received.
Tosin believes in digital access as a gateway to empowerment. She’s passionate about education, enterprise, and equity, and continues to mentor and train the next generation of media professionals through speaking, training, and storytelling.
“I believe the internet should be a platform for possibility. It’s not about being viral. It’s about being valuable.”
